Eric discovered the new LiveSearch feature, which has been rolled out for a couple of themes and will be tweaked over the next few weeks.

Purple Lilacs found the new admin bar. Miklb did too.

John Roberts (of News.com) likes the new post screen.

Kathy found a bug, but we’ll fix that soon. :)

If you can say nothing else about WordPress.com, at least there’s always something new.

  1. Thanks for mentioning me Matt :) Yes, I like the liveseach feature, I also like the new admin bar and the new post screen. And I’m hoping to find out more soon. Keep up the good work.

  6. This is my first day on wordpress and I have already started liking this place. So many cool features to explore…

    I wish if we could have a preview thing in the comments section as well before publishing.

    It involved the invite system and your private alpha going to hell if someone else discovered it :)

Argh…, WP 1.6 Alpha Admin that has been used as a blog engine on wordpress.com is very impressive.
