We just added a new feature to the admin bar, the blue thing you see at the top of WordPress.com when you’re logged in.
“Add to Blogroll” does pretty much what you’d expect, it adds the blog you’re currently looking at to your blogroll. It’ll redirect you back to where you were and the link will then say “Remove from Blogroll” in case you ever change your mind.
As always, your links are available as an OPML file if you’re into that sort of thing.

Matt,
in the OPML file which is being generated on this site there’s an error for Lorelle’s feed.
The URL is http://lorelle.wordpress.comfeed
Don’t know if it’s a problem with the export script or just a typo when you registered it.

How do you think about implementing a configuration in which Category the link added through the “add to Blogroll” Button should go?
I mean, most of the Themes do only support one Category, so for them it doesn’t matter. But I have a theme with multi-categroy support. Maybe it could be a cool ajaxified version, where i get a choice into which category I want to put this link. Or at least there could be somewhere in the Link Section an option, where I can define a “standard Link Category for the Admin Bar” or so.
How do you or others think about that?

I think usage of AJAX here would be good.
By the way… I was one of them that suggested this feature
