sweet! I’m also a fan of the Vaio; my only gripe has been the fan (can be a little noisy). What’s it like on the Z890??

I haven’t noticed the fan at all! I had that problem on my old one as well.

Sweet specs Matt. I would only wish the GFX Card had 512 instead of 256. Beggars (and I lump myself into that cat) can’t be choosers.

Nice machine; sounds like it’s going to be pretty powerful.
I just finally posted about the new laptop I ended up buying after WordCamp Birmingham was over. Still trying to play catch up as a result.
A belated thank you again for coming on over.

I’ve used a Vaio as primary laptop for last 4-5 years, they’re just better for my use case. (Maximum power in minimum weight and size.)

What are you doing on the road that makes you need to have a beast like that? Photo editing? Coding?

I’ve used VAIO’s for the past 7 years or so too. I love the keyboard layout and the track pad. I’m jealous.
