I grew up eating tripe in Menudo and it brings back good memories of my extended family gathering together on Sundays when I was a kid. Menudo, chopped onions, fresh lemons, and white corn tortillas…. so good!
Oh my! I grew up with this and I can’t revisit it because I never get past the thought of what I am eatting! 100% Italian-American, we certainly don’t limit the options!! Denise
That looks deceivingly nice.
See, that looks good, but….. hm.
What is this made of?

Once, when I was young, at a buffett, I ate tripe…it was not a pleasant experience. I was in a stew, perhaps this version is nicer.
HA! I used to eat that a lot at one point! Yum
Is that stomach in the dish? I see it eaten a lot at Dim Sum restaurants.. it actually looks quite tasty!
“ahhh, tripe how i miss thee” said no one ever
Photo – awesome.
The soup – Blechhhhhhh!
