Flock out of the bag

We’re seeing a lfew new Flockers around these parts. As some of you may know, WordPress.com is the first choice blogging engine inside of Flock.

Anyway folks, welcome to the party. :)

    birds of a feather flock together….that was bad

    so far, it looks good for a 1.0 beta preview (i.e. a real beta)

    Ah yes, and it appears that Flockers get invited to WordPress.com by nature. Quite brilliant! Very “iydkydg” if you ask me.

    Hey Matt, I got a WP.com invite literally minutes before I downloaded Flock and found another one! It’s funny how you wait for something for ages and then when you get it, 2 come along… Kinda like buses I guess!

    I curious to try Flock, especially because Firefox is prohibited on my workplace. I can use only IE and Opera.

    Eh, found the download at http://www.flock.com/developer/download/preview/, but it requires administrator to install. Not for me :-(

    For those that don’t know, iydkydg was an ad campaign launched by Coca-cola’s “Coke Card” program in 2000; it stood for “if you don’t know you don’t go”. It probably was supposed to be “exclusive”, but probably wasn’t that popular, and was let go. Hence why there are some people that don’t know what it is.

    @ theroxylandr: Firefox is prohibited? Wow.

    I don’t really feel any speed increase because I used Firefox 1.5 Beta before this… lol.

    Err, Flocker IS Firefox - well, the engine anyway. It’s just been hacked up and had some new features added.

    The features are cool if you’re a blogger, but if you’re not, they’re nothing special. Social bookmarking? Been around for ages.

    Well FlockFox… misses one thing I enjoyed in firefox.
    The ability to open all bookmarks in tabs.
    Damn you cant open a new tab from a bookmark !
    What the f..lock ?
    I am using 4.9 now and still the same.
    Lets see 5.0 maybe the flicks it. :)
