1. Yes, they are indeed a most theraputic thing to see early in the morning. Nothing better than having a cup of tea in the garden and enjoying the lupins and iris’s. I was fortunate to find a clump of “Lady slipper” orchids this past weekend. They grow in great profusion on the Bruce peninsula in Ontario (42 species can be found there). 5. I love posting pics of my flowers. I’m excited to learn how you ahceived so many on one blog. I love the layout of the photoalbums, too. I hope there is a better FAQ than the one I’ve been trying to motivate myself to get back through.

8. Just for the record. The way you have posted the quote, “I hate flowers. I paint them because they’re cheaper than models and they don’t move,” leads readers to believe that these were O’Keeffe’s words, which they are not.

9. I love flowers too, probably because even though I don’t do Biology anymore, I can take pictures of them with a biologist’s eye
